Further to the notice of AGM issued by Michelle Lember on the 1 of September we have today posted on our website a listing of the 2011-12 nominations for committee.

These nominations are also attached along with an agenda for our AGMand the invitation

Hi All

It is with great pleasure that I call for nominations for the Commerce Caboolture Committee for 2011-12, to be elected at our AGM on Wednesday,September 2011.

The last 2 years have seen the Chamber take a big step forward and we are looking to continue that momentum in the next year.During the last few months the committee have worked hard to set out what is expected of each committee member and with that in mind have developed 2 documents (attached) outlining the minimum expectations of all committee members and a role description for each committee member. the non executive committee members there are now specified roles and responsibilities.Please review these documents prior to nominating to ensure that you are familiar with these expectations and duties.

If you are looking to join or continue on with the Committee in the following year please complete a separate nomination form (attached) for each role that you are interested in taking on.I encourage you to nominate so that we can continue to shape our chamber into a leading business organisation in the next year and beyond.

Nominations are to be received by me no later than 5:00pm Tuesday, 30 August.Please note that although we encourage all interested persons to apply, only financial Members of the Commerce Caboolture may nominate a Committee member, take a Committee position or vote at the AGM.

Membership renewals are now due and new membership applications are being accepted.Please our website at www.commercecaboolture.com.au for forms.
